“Boy Meets World fans rejoice — the spinoff Girl Meets World has officially gotten the green light from the Disney Channel and will air next year, Disney programming executives announced Monday.  

In these new pics, Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel reprise their roles as Cory Matthews and Topanga Lawrence, now parents to Riley Matthews (Rowan Blanchard, 11). Also featured is Riley’s best friend Maya, played by Sabrina Carpenter, 14.

Set in New York City,  filming will begin in Los Angeles this summer!”

It’s official! Girl Meets World was picked up today! It will premiere next year on Disney Channel
